The Beauty Bank is a Shared Services Company providing accounting, reporting, treasury, marketing, PR, eCommerce, creative, strategic direction, and other services to approximately two dozen related companies in various different industries.
Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of accounting (from “soups to nuts”) for several companies including an IT Services company and several real estate holding companies. Manage all of the accounting, monthly close process, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management of several small companies including an IT Services company and several real estate holding companies all based in Mahwah, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly closing process including reconciliations on a timely basis.
- Build a strong finance and accounting infrastructure including systems, processes, and controls.
- Manage all of the daily activities including bill paying and invoicing.
- Assist in managing cash flow.
- Create, report, and analyze annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Requirements
- CPA not required, but a big plus.
- Experience in the monthly closing process a MUST!
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting cycle.
- 6+ years of accounting experience is required.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
- Team player eager to work in a dynamic work environment.
- Willing to commute and work on-site in Mahwah, New Jersey.
