Title: Sr IT Project Manager – Financial Integration
Location: Mahwah, NJ (Remote with 20% travel onsite)

Rate: $46-$56/hour on C2C & $45/hour on W2

Experience: 12+ years’ experience required. All work visas acceptable except OPT, CPT.
Job Summary:
Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager with strong experience in Financial Implementations to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients based out of Mahwah, NJ. In this role, the IT Senior Project Manager will be responsible for initiating and managing finance projects that require financial integrations for a global business in a dynamic environment. A successful candidate would leverage effective project management practices while collaborating with various divisions and cross-functional teams globally, delivering cost-effective implementations that exceed stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Define project charter, project scope, assess impact, determine implementation approach, schedule, budget, and resource needs while working with various global stakeholders.
- Experience working on Financial Project implementation.
- GxP validation process.
- Actively collaborate with stakeholders in a consultative role to elicit business and technical requirements and help prioritize implementations aligning with IT strategies.
- Align to business and IT priorities by effectively leveraging waterfall, iterative, and Agile methodologies while coaching and mentoring team members.
- Utilize the PM Framework, leveraging tools like Planview, JIRA, and other collaboration tools for increased productivity.
- Build and execute operational and technical project plans, facilitate all project gate reviews, and effectively escalate issues to meet project milestones/goals.
- Manage scope and change aligning to business priorities, identify risks and issues, prioritize conflicting needs, and follow through on projects to successful completion with minimal guidance.
- Provide regular status updates to the Leadership and Management team, constantly driving improvements to outcomes.
- Demonstrate high adaptability and flexibility to support new projects as communicated.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT project manager with at least 3 years’ experience in Financial Integrations.
- Minimum of 5 years in Pharma/Medical devices.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, Information Technology, or 10 years’ experience in Information Technology projects.
- Certification in PMP is a plus.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience working on Financial Project implementations, feature enhancements, upgrades, release, and lifecycle management supporting business transformation.
- Stakeholder Management.
- GxP Validation experience.
- Strong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations to various levels of management articulating project status, risk mitigations, benefits, and financial realizations.
- Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide the team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals and priorities.
- Strong experience in PM Framework, following estimation guidelines, resource management, gate reviews, quality audits, process improvements, and training in PPM tools & dashboards.
- Effective conflict management in a fast-paced environment, taking higher responsibilities while working with cross-functional teams on multiple priorities.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
