Senior Accountant

Eagle is looking for a motivated Senior Accountant with three plus years of public accounting experience to work at our Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey office. The Senior Accountant will report to the Senior Manager, Accounting. They will be responsible for accounting related items including preparing monthly account reconciliations, performing complex analyses, and assisting with various day-to-day projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing procedures including preparing journal entries;
- Perform complex account analyses and reconciliations;
- Prepare Form 10Q/K support schedules;
- Prepare audit workpapers and support completion of internal and external audits;
- Prepare monthly/quarterly analytics package for senior management and external auditors;
- Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
- Assist with implementation of new technologies for accounting and financial management;
- Develop and implement accounting procedures and processes by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes;
- Assist with various process improvement projects;
- Coordinate with various internal groups for issues that are identified and resolve those issues in a timely manner;
- Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting;
- 3+ years of public accounting experience;
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
- CPA or parts passed strongly preferred;
- Pharmaceutical experience preferred, but not required;
- Strong attention to detail and organized;
- Team oriented.
Location: Hybrid schedule, 3-4 days onsite/1-2 days remote. This position is based at our headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, with occasional travel as needed.
