Consumer Loan Servicing Representative II

Pay Range: $20.67 - $28.94
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for providing direct assistance to Members, team members, and third parties regarding complex inquiries, research, and solutions pertaining to Member loans post funding.
- Ensures timely completion of such requests and transactions while complying with established internal standards and external regulations.
- Maintains working knowledge and understanding of loan servicing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Responds to Member, third party, and team member inquiries concerning loan servicing, payoffs, and other loan information details.
- Responsible for maintenance of loan files, including but not limited to, payoff requests/demands, corrections, reamortizations, payment skips, and file maintenance on team member consumer loans.
- Ensures refunds and loan payments are properly credited or applied to Member loans.
- Responsible for payoff processing and coordinating title release.
- Responsible for evaluating insurance settlements, processing insurance proceeds, and coordinating title release, and completing Letters of Guarantee.
- Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of the Consumer Lending Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs and desktops).
- Reviews and works department reports on a monthly or ad hoc basis as required by management.
- Assists with testing, validation, and training of process changes.
- Assists with department projects upon request.
Additional Job Functions
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment-related actions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of previous related experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous Symitar and/or loan servicing system experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with active listening.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
