Arlo is looking for an experienced professional to enhance its financial accounting team. Joining the team located in Irvine, California, the Manager, Accounting will be responsible for managing external and internal auditors, assisting in financial reporting, and managing day-to-day accounting operations to support the broader business. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with worldwide responsibilities, facing various internal and external partners. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, there will be opportunity to gain significant exposure to all areas of Finance, Accounting and Operations. The team is highly focused on Learning and Development for all team members and engages regularly with diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the quarterly review and annual audit with external auditors
- Act as management representative for SOX and internal audit
- Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation and/or review of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Perform key control procedures
- Provide technical accounting assistance to other departments in order to achieve optimal and accurate accounting treatment on key business initiatives
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- 3-5 years public accounting experience required; tech or retail client industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar fields required
- Enthusiastic, highly organized individual with strong communication skills, a focus on excellence and a desire to progress in the field of Accounting and Finance
- Able to work independently, committed to learning and development, flexible
- Advanced MS Excel Skills is required
- Experience of Oracle E-Business ERP system is preferred.
- Strong team player, with a commitment to ensure team success in meeting objectives
The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between $96,000 – 132,000/year, plus equity. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits. Details of all benefits will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
