QA Analyst - Orange County
JOB SUMMARY: The QA Analyst's primary responsibility is to ensure the timely and comprehensive testing of various applications, systems, and services. This role involves applying industry best practices while executing various types of QA and testing activities, including functional, automated, and performance testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review requirements to define test cases for complex software projects.
- Develop strategic test plans and review them with cross-functional team members.
- Find opportunities to help, define and develop automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with the QA team to organize testing strategies and prioritize responsibilities.
- Perform appropriate testing to discover and report software defects and triage defects.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot software issues.
- Collaborate closely with development, product management, and technical support to ensure that the quality objectives of all projects are met within schedule constraints.
- Provide testing metrics and reports for the QA dashboard to effectively communicate test status to the test team and management.
- Log and track issues using a defect tracking system.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience as a QA Analyst for enterprise-level applications.
- Strong QA methodology and process experience.
- Experience with structured test methodologies.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are a must.
PREFERRED:
- Test automation experience (Selenium is a plus).
- Website development experience is a plus.
- Experience with Jira is preferred.

- Salary: $90-100k
