Supervisory Responsibilities:
- AP / AR / PR / Cash Management
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accounting support – calculates journal entries with data from system-generated reports or other sources for a variety of general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile General Ledger Accounts – maintains reconciliations for a variety of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Financial reporting - assists in the preparation of financial statements, cash forecasting, monthly accruals as well as bank reconciliation.
- Monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax preparation.
- Creating and implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations.
- Monitoring and protecting the organization’s assets and financial condition.
- Daily collaborations with payroll, HR, AR, AP, Job Costing, banking, and general ledger.
- Internal Audits from Parent Company
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced Excel experience
- Excellent organizational, analytical, numerical, verbal, and written communication
- Ability to effectively communicate with other departments within the organization.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Ensure departmental deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Viewpoint Vista Trimble Software a plus
- Five to ten years of professional experience a plus
