Responsible for creating and maintaining close relationships with all parties involved in commercial transactions and help facilitate sales through the structuring of creative and appealing loan products.
- Develops and retains commercial business, meeting with prospects and customers of moderate size and complexity in a designated region to achieve a moderate sales goal under limited supervision of more experienced personnel.
- Develops broader knowledge base of commercial and other products and services, including loan policy, documentation, structuring and regulatory requirements.
- Gathers related financial and general business information, performs financial analyses needed to make credit decisions, participates in team credit decisions, and communicates with prospects and customers to close sales.
- Continues developing a growing network of outside referral sources for new business.
- Ensures that work is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in originating first and second mortgages, construction loans, home equity lines of credit and other portfolio-type products required.
- Wholesalers and rate sheets knowledge. Underwriting knowledge, from origination to loan closing and construction draws.
