A Day in the Life as an Accounts Receivable Clerk with Us:This position’s primary responsibility is to secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will also resolve any discrepancies and monitor dealership receivables to ensure all accounts are up to date and current. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts receivable experience with high levels of computer competency and organizational skills and have a general understanding of accounting principles. Qualifications to be an Accounts Receivable Clerk:
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles – GAAP
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Self-motivated, able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedules
- Accounting experience preferred
- Ability to handle discrepancies or other issues in a professional manner
- Willing and able to work extended hours when needed
