WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Analyze, recommend, execute and manage financial strategies for the credit union. Provide leadership in the areas of finance, pricing, cost accounting, liquidity and risk management. Develop financial information to promote the achievement of strategic investment goals and control risk. Oversee the asset/liability management (ALM) function through the development of processes, procedures, analysis, and reporting. Utilize projections and computer simulations to develop and achieve ALM goals. Execute strategic and financial projections, data and financial analysis for a variety of special projects and initiatives within the framework and guidelines provided by the VP of Finance, CFO or other managers. Make decisions that commensurate with ALM and financial functions.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or related, or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience within the financial or related industry.
- Proven financial analytic skills, working knowledge of Asset Liability Management, liquidity management, financial analysis, cost accounting and financial reporting. Knowledge of investment securities and pricing techniques.
- PC experience to include a general working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel and Word), Internet, and E-mail or equivalents. Working knowledge of ALM, budgeting and projection model software preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate financial data collected. Database management and financial data analysis experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact and speak professionally and comfortably in face-to-face, telephone, and e-mail environments with members and co-workers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical financial information.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
- Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
