BAE Systems Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis - Hybrid Nashua, New Hampshire Apply Now
Responsible for financial planning and analysis, operating cash management, strategic finance, and corporate reporting of the $7 billion Electronic Systems sector. Direct, manage, and develop a staff of professionals.
Actively participate as a member of the Electronic Systems Finance Leadership Team (FLT) providing oversight of the sector's business performance. Contribute to the development and execution of ES strategy that delivers on its commitments to the enterprise and shareholders. Establish a challenging, yet achievable business plan and see the plan through from implementation to delivery. Balance opportunities against risk and deliver results that meet or exceed the business plan. Assess operating results in terms of costs, budgets, trends, and opportunities to grow Earnings Per Share while reinvesting in the business supporting exceptional growth.
Protect the financial reputation of BAE Systems, ES. Manage the full spectrum of activities including annual planning, quarterly forecasting, performance against targets, and scalable reporting & analytics. Leveraging a wide array of qualitative and statistical analyses, inform and recommend course corrections to Sector leadership required to meet or exceed the business commitment. Ensure transparency at all levels.
Prepare long and short-range financial plans, forecasts, and goals based on established business targets. Provide insight and leadership to achieve those goals. Report financial results compared to plan and forecasts to ES senior leadership in the form of executive communications, financial summary reports, Quarterly Business Reviews, CEO Business Reviews, and Integrated Business Plan presentations. Interpret operating results which affect financial performance and make specific recommendations that result in achieving the Sector plan. Maintain the organization’s business performance risk and opportunity register ensuring clear understanding and disclosure during management reviews.
The preferred work location for this role is Nashua, NH, with a secondary option to work out of Wayne, NJ or Greenlawn, NY for exceptional talent and additional travel expectations to Southern, NH. This role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, taking the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to achieve results through others and a focus on inclusive leadership.
- Min. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Min. Experience: More than 15 years of work experience in Finance within the Government Aerospace & Defense industry.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $194600 - $330800. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
