RGP Lease Accounting Manager - Omaha, Nebraska
We are seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant with deep expertise in lease accounting and Visual Lease software to lead and elevate lease accounting operations for a key Financial Services client.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end lease accounting functions, including account reconciliations, accuracy in lease entries, and financial reporting.
- Partner closely with corporate real estate to ensure precise lease data and reporting, particularly as part of our SAP S/4HANA transformation.
- Lead the integration of lease accounting processes into S/4HANA, supporting the team in transitioning from SAP ECC.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and advisor on Visual Lease software, providing guidance and direction on best practices; CoStar experience is also a plus.
- Train new hires on lease accounting principles, Visual Lease operations, and reporting standards.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 842, IFRS 16, and internal controls, contributing to global accounting integrity and alignment.
Qualifications:
- Senior to Manager-level accounting professional with experience in lease accounting and general accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Visual Lease software and familiarity with CoStar (preferred).
- SAP experience required, with hands-on knowledge of SAP ECC and ideally exposure to S/4HANA.
- Prior experience in a global accounting environment, with a proven track record of managing lease data across multiple regions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and ASC 842 standards.
Compensation:
Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors. Pay Range: $65-$85/hr.
This project-based, W2 role offers long-term engagement and benefits, with a hybrid work setup in Scottsdale, AZ, or Omaha, NE. Top remote talent may be considered, provided they are available for 1-3 weeks of onsite training.
