The Curtis Theatre, in partnership with Southgate Productions, is holding auditions for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Directed by Jonathan Infante and Tara Pitt.
Auditions: 6-9 pm on November 11-12, 2024 at the Curtis Theatre in Brea (no appointment necessary)
Performances: February 7th – 23rd, 2025
Please prepare 16-32 bars from a contemporary musical or a song from the 60s/70s and in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. No playback of tracks is available. All roles are open and all ethnicities, genders, abilities, ages, and body types will be considered; however, this production will employ historically accurate casting for actors portraying non-fictitious characters.
For those auditioning for Carole or Barry, please be prepared to play and sing a song on piano for callbacks.
