Position Specific Description
The Manager of Finance supports our NextEra Energy Investments team with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the internal group forecast and budget, monthly financial reporting, reviewing and evaluating financial statements, and forecasting for various portfolio companies that our NextEra Energy Investments (NEI) team invests in.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish processes and procedures for investment activities for NEI team - including tracking, accounting, reporting, and valuing investment activities.
- Lead valuation of current investments in the NEI portfolio.
- Consolidate and report NEI investment financials to senior management.
- Identify and conduct complex analyses of financial impacts of issues and/or decisions facing the NEI group.
- Coordinate externally with the management of portfolio companies to understand their financial position and business performance.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management.
- Various ad hoc financial analysis as required.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
