Role Description: We are looking for a skilled Accounting Associate to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial duties. The successful candidate will keep financial records updated, prepare reports, and reconcile bank statements, ensuring that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Associate or in a similar role
- Proven experience in accounting (three-part accounting and three-way matching for AP/AR)
- Residency in Michigan
- This is a position for someone willing to stay and make this a career
- Familiarity with accounting procedures and industry-specific software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities as an Accounting Associate at Impact Solutions:
- Audit and process a high volume of invoices
- Respond to inquiries concerning client and supplier accounts
- Utilize the three-way match process for payables
- Resolve invoice issues with suppliers and internal contacts
- Prepare and maintain account aging and status reports
- Verify and set up vendor accounts
- Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, or payments
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records in compliance with company, state, and federal requirements
