About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable individual who enjoys taking on new challenges. The Sr. Accountant is responsible for the general accounting function, including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and account and bank reconciliations. This role will assist with monthly closings and account analysis, along with supporting the AR/AP teams in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Prepare journal entries
- Calculate and accrue monthly and quarterly commissions
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
- Upload account reconciliations and support to Blackline
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Assist with annual audit requests
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting
- CPA
- Intermediate knowledge of Finance and Accounting best practices
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
