The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applicants for an Open Rank tenured or tenure-track environmental/resource/energy economist position in our Applied Economics and Policy area. The intended start date of this position is July 1, 2025. The position will be based in Ithaca, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing or maintaining a distinguished program of research (50%) in environmental, energy, and resource economics.
- Teaching (50%) opportunities across all areas of environmental, energy, and resource economics.
- Publishing in top field and general economics journals.
- Developing modern curricula for undergraduate business and MBA students at the intersection of environmental policy and sustainable business.
