The Product Analyst works closely with business partners such as sales, client services, and operations to understand and document existing business processes, identify areas of opportunity for improvement, and deliver requirements to the technology team for both internal and external products. Works closely with the engineering and QA resources to ensure the efficient delivery of incremental improvements. Acts as project manager, liaising between internal and external stakeholders, to drive application changes and improvements to fruition.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Business Partners to evaluate end user needs and requirements.
- Using subject matter expertise, address each request individually, ranging from routine to high level of complexity.
- Determines approach for each request and makes recommendations to management.
- Act as liaison between Application Development team and customer (includes external customers as well as internal customers from various departments).
- Perform various project management tasks to drive application changes, corrections and improvements to fruition. Involves evaluating needs and requirements, coordinating activities between internal and external stakeholders, conducting follow up, managing timelines, and providing status updates.
- Communicate front-end user requirements to the development team.
- Communicate back-end requirements to the development team.
- Evaluate and prioritize new development requests.
- Utilize existing tools to track and report on development progression.
- Address any development roadblocks.
- Lead product design, development roadmap, and feature enhancement.
- Identify opportunities for automation through system integration.
- Understand and document operational processes to identify procedural gaps and propose solutions.
- Act as liaison between Application Development team and QA team to facilitate UAT as required.
- Responsible for end user training for newly introduced features. Involves developing training materials and conducting training to both external customers and internal customers from various departments. May coordinate use of outside training vendor in certain cases, as needed.
- Prepare release notes and user guides, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years’ experience required in business or product analyst role.
- 2 years’ experience with Salesforce required.
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $38.32/hr to $57.49/hr. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A discretionary bonus and/or business line incentive may be provided, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
