What You Will Be Doing:
The Senior Participation & Post-Close Review Specialist ensures the delivery of high-touch client service to both internal and external clients via accurate and timely processing of loans, consistent with our Client Service Standards. They are accountable for completing various loan operations duties, specifically relating to participations and post-close reviews. The Senior-level specialist exists as a highly knowledgeable resource and is the first point of contact for complex loan inquiries and issues. Additionally, they actively support other team members in resolving problems that arise, while assisting with the supervision of the work of other Loan Operations Specialists.
How You Will Get the Job Done:
- Reports & Reconciliations: Demonstrates expertise and experience in reviewing and/or monitoring daily, weekly, monthly, and month-end reports related to the loan portfolio. Identifies, investigates, and resolves reconciliation discrepancies by collaborating with Loan Administration team and others. Leads team members in the review and validation of paid/delinquent property taxes within the loan portfolio.
- Participation, Escrow & SBA Servicing: Displays confidence in processing the daily remittance of participation payments to/from participant banks. Resolves discrepancies in balancing of corresponding payment General Ledgers. Monitors the mortgage portfolio to accurately complete escrow servicing on all accounts. Exercises effective coordination of the escrow disbursement and analysis process. Processes and remits monthly SBA reporting to the Small Business Administration in an accurate and timely manner.
- Loan Review & Maintenance: Performs strong post-close and loan file maintenance reviews. Exercises successful partnership with the Loan Administration team to execute timely completion and review of all loan types. Demonstrates expert proficiency in ability to audit complex loan documentation of all components of the approved credit accommodation, including audit of loan booking and loan maintenance in Fiserv. Reviews and monitors availability of pledged loans for Federal Home Loan Bank and Federal Reserve Bank. Performs review of credit dispute activity through e-Oscar and provides for accurate dispute resolution.
- Collaboration: Successfully collaborates across teams to identify opportunities for enhanced processes, procedures, and client service. Exists as primary contact Loan Operations team members can approach for assistance with multifaceted issues. Strong collaboration with Loan Administration team to review and resolve various post-close review findings.

Professional & Educational Experience You Bring:
A High School Diploma and 5-7 years of experience in banking (Loan Operations, Loan Documentation, and Loan Review) or equivalent combination of education and experience in.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and more with assistance. - This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Local travel is expected for this position.
