Part Time Accounting Manager - Non-Profit / Mission Driven Organization - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE!
Respected non-profit centrally located off of Dodge St is searching for an experienced accounting leader to step into this key role on a part-time 25-30 hour per week basis. This opportunity will offer a flex schedule, ability to work-from home if needed, and the ability to work with an excellent Board of Directors and a CEO with a finance background. This organization is tremendously stable and has been a pillar of the Omaha community for over 50 years.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization’s monthly accounting close process taking ownership for all account reconciliations, entries and budget to actual management reporting.
- Take personal ownership for accounts payable processing, coding and reconciliations.
- Lead the accounts receivable process for a company that has many streams of revenue with donations coming from many directions, making A.R. complex and highly analytical.
- Oversee outsourced payroll processing and act as the key liaison with the payroll firm.
- Partner closely with the CEO, Board of Directors and Treasurer and provide insights into how the organization is performing.
- Attend board meetings and answer questions as to the organization’s financial performance and health.
