The Opportunity
Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst, Retail Sales Planning for the Pediatric Nutrition brands. The role of the Senior Financial Analyst is to inform U.S. Nutrition business decision-making in all aspects related to retail shipment projections and inventory, leveraging data-driven insights and Retail Sales, Demand Planning, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain collaboration.
What You’ll Work On
- Forecast bi-monthly Retail Sales Projection (RSP) for the Pediatric Nutrition brands, including coordination of monthly/quarterly meetings with retail teams, consolidation of forecast inputs from retail teams and business units, review and challenge assumptions in team level forecasts, create brand level retail forecast, and use professional judgment in developing total RSP for supported brands.
- Integrate RSP inventory assumptions with Brand Latest Best Estimate (LBE) through collaboration with Brand Finance and Retail Sales. Understand LBE sales builds and identify variances between RSP and LBE assumptions.
- Lead monthly brand RSP meetings by delivering projections and providing a clear point of view based on data and informed metrics.
- Maintain daily, weekly, monthly reporting and analytics including Daily Retail Tracker, Average Order Builds, Daily Order Database, Top 20 reports and S&OP inventory tables.
- Monitor daily shipments and orders with subsequent communication of any material updates to stakeholders.
- Drive integration with Retail Sales through consistent communication on forecasts and trends as well as training on forecasting and documentation procedures.
- Identify, develop and advocate ad-hoc projects related to process improvement, LBE integration and Retail Sales / Brand collaboration.

Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive finance, sales or sales forecasting experience. Previous commercial finance, sales or sales analysis experience a plus.
- Undergraduate business degree or other discipline (e.g., mathematics, economics) that requires extensive quantitative knowledge.
- Highly-motivated self-starter with proven problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing customer demands in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent relationship builder with strong communication skills as this role interacts with multiple levels across the U.S. Nutrition organization.
- Skilled in financial modeling, advanced knowledge of Excel (including macros) and PowerPoint is required, experience with Cognos, Power BI is recommended.
