We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Pricing Program Leader to join our marketing team in the data center industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive profitability and competitive positioning across global markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and extensive experience in pricing, preferably within the technology or data center sectors.
This person will be sitting in our Global Headquarters office in Westerville, Ohio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pricing Strategy Development: Create and execute global pricing strategies to maximize profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and customer demand to inform strategic decisions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to understand global market dynamics, pricing trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform pricing strategies and decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product management teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives and market conditions.
- Pricing Models and Tools: Develop and maintain pricing models, tools, and frameworks to support effective pricing decisions. Ensure pricing tools are scalable and adaptable to changing market conditions.
- Revenue Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize revenue through strategic pricing initiatives, discount management, and promotional strategies. Implement pricing programs that drive sales and profitability.
- Global Pricing Governance: Establish and enforce global pricing policies and guidelines. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor pricing performance and effectiveness of pricing strategies. Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key customers and stakeholders to understand their pricing needs and expectations. Address pricing-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in pricing, finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the data center industry or technology sector is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in pricing software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically, with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
