Senior Financial Analyst

The position of Senior Financial Analyst with CPS will involve performing financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, pricing, and profitability, and becoming the financial system expert for the corporate FP&A team within CPS. This role requires an analytical thinker with the ability to problem-solve both independently and in a group setting. Responsibilities include evaluating trends, risks, and recommending solutions or corrective actions to maximize cost savings and profitability. The analyst will prepare and regularly distribute reports to operational and finance management, providing superior customer service to internal and external customers.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days a week in the office during training and ramp-up, transitioning to 1-3 days a week after based on team needs.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, day shift, with occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs.
Salary Range: $105,000-$115,000 based on experience, plus bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field
- 5+ years of financial, cost accounting, and/or analytical experience
- Experience gathering data and manipulating it to create analytical reports and tools that support the organization
- Experience working with healthcare financial management is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated time and organizational management skills
- Experience working with highly educated professional staff
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to understand, implement, and monitor CPS-developed tools
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal and external clients
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current and past financial data and performance for the company
- Prepare financial reports, ad hoc financial analysis, financial modeling, and financial projections based on financials
- Evaluate and forecast weekly cash flow for the company
- Assist in the consolidation of monthly financial reporting packages for the executive team
- Help maintain and optimize Financial Reporting systems, including maintaining the accuracy of dimensions, attributes, and the employee workforce
- Coordinate with corporate department leaders and other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
- Perform other related duties as assigned
