Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Business Analyst (Human Resources), we'll count on you to:
- Provide technical, administrative and systems support for stock and global synthetic equity programs.
- Develop and maintain detailed presentation-ready financial reports, dashboards and to communicate stock and executive benefits to key stakeholders.
- Perform routine and ad hoc audits of financial information.
- Responsible for maintenance of internal SharePoint websites.
- Process stock and synthetic equity related payroll changes and prepare files being sent to our vendors each pay period.
- Answer and trouble-shoot routine to moderately complex 401(k), stock and synthetic equity questions.
- Work with our retirement plan vendors on file feeds/uploads, running needed reports and reconciling and analyzing data held by each vendor.
- Help administer enrollment and processes related to stock- and synthetic equity-related recognition programs.
- Work in Power BI to build databases of information and dashboards.
- Ensure accurate system setup for Prevailing Wage compliance.
- Collect and analyze HR financial data from various sources, including HRIS and Third-Party Administrator systems.
- Manage special projects as assigned from both retirement and benefits areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Local candidate preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of related benefits experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize company information management systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
- Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.
- Ability to understand, evaluate and judge standard claims for benefit program(s) and knowledge of benefits contract language.
- Basic knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, COBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
- Excellent communication, client service and organization skills.
- Ability to travel; percentage of total time less than 10% but number of days within a limited period may be high.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
