There is a currently an urgent need for a Loan Processor with extensive experience in the mortgage loan industry to join a stable organization located near Newport Beach, CA. Job Description:
- Ensure the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by our loan officers.
- Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing.
- Input proper loan information into the system for processing.
- Verify loan documents including income, credit, appraisal, and title insurance, ultimately preparing application for submittal to underwriting.
- Order and coordinate loan documents.
All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:
- Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have CURRENT experience working as a Loan Processor in the mortgage loan industry.
- 2+ years of successful experience as a Loan Processor, processing and underwriting mortgage loans using Loan Prospector and Desktop Underwriter systems.
- Experience working with VA and FHA loans.
- Knowledge of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines.
- Experience working in a local mortgage company is a PLUS.
