Position Title: Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Preferred Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid); will consider strong candidates outside of the Twin Cities (Remote)
A Day in the Life
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Finance Manager to join our team. This position will report to the Mozarc Financial Planning & Analysis Director and will be a key member of the Mozarc FP&A team. In this pivotal role, you will analyze financial data, develop comprehensive financial plans, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency across the global Mozarc organization. The ideal candidate will build and foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, taking ownership and driving significant changes within a complex, start-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Annual Operating Plan (“AOP”) and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
- Perform variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights to Finance leadership and the Mozarc Senior Leadership Team (“SLT”).
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports and dashboards for the SLT, highlighting key performance indicators and trends across the global organization.
- Assist in the development of global long-term financial plans for Mozarc, including capital expenditure planning.
- Serve as the functional Finance lead and business partner for the Executive, Finance, and Administrative Facilities organizations, helping senior functional leadership understand spending trends, coordinating inputs from local Analysts, and developing forecasts and annual operating plans.
- Perform training and provide financial guidance to stakeholders outside of Finance when required.
- Interact with other Finance teams across Mozarc for best practice sharing.
Must Have
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 4 years of relevant FP&A experience and 5+ years of managerial experience.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- MBA or other Masters degree.
- Proven analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex financial data and drive actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present financial information to stakeholders, including the ability to interact with and influence all levels of management.
- Ability to align financial plans with organizational goals and long-term strategy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI) and with financial applications (SAP S/4). High proficiency in Excel for data analysis and modeling.
