JOB DESCRIPTION FOR: Internal Auditor/Document Control Coordinator
SUMMARY: Support the Quality Management System and Environmental Management Systems (IMS) at Conductix-Wampfler U.S.A. by conducting internal audits and maintaining the documentation (records, forms, procedures, work instructions, and any other IMS support documentation) of the Integrated Management System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create, maintain, and distribute documentation according to the requirements of the IMS Manual, IMS procedures, and work instructions.
- Add new documents to the IMS when requested via a Document Change Control (DCC) form.
- Maintain/modify existing documents based on submitted DCC forms.
- Review all documents in maintenance mode for accuracy and assure there are no grammatical and spelling errors prior to release for approval.
- Communicate with DCC requestors to update any pertinent info (Associated Documents, update Approvers list, etc).
- Communicate with area Supervisors any updates to documents relative to daily duties.
- Keep a log of submitted DCC forms.
- Ensure that all new IMS documents or changes made to existing IMS documentation are approved by appropriate personnel before implementation.
- Assist managers, supervisors, Quality and EHS Coordinators in the development, implementation, review, and training of IMS documentation.
- Work with team members from various departments to gather information needed to create and document work processes.
- Take photos or video clips of business processes to insert into documentation.
- Create flowcharts of processes for support of the IMS document system.
- Assist CxW business areas in the creation of work instructions to support mistake-proof work processes.
- Maintain and control IMS records, used as proof of conformance to verify process conformance to work instructions.
- Develop and adhere to the IMS audit schedule.
- Audit business processes of all company departments per IMS requirements.
- Prepare and submit IMS audit reports containing summary of internal audit findings.
- Follow up on Corrective Actions and OFI’s resulting from internal audits.
- Assist with external audits and inspections as needed to help support workload of the QA team.
- Process and monitor corrective actions and maintain documentation of corrective action activities.
- Work with CAR documentation system and appropriate personnel to assist in resolving CAR’s associated with internal and external IMS auditing processes.
- Adhere to quality, environmental, and safety systems or maintenance of quality, environmental and safety standards.
- Support and uphold the quality and EHS policy.

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or high school degree and 2-3 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, ISO work instructions/procedures, and procedure manuals. Must have excellent writing skills and the ability to document organized thought.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
Computer Skills: Must be well versed in all MS-Office programs - Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio.
Other Skills: Team player is a must, active listener, good problem-solving and time management skills. Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.

Work Environment: This position requires the associate to work full-time, onsite, and to occasionally travel and work in other manufacturing locations.
