JOB SUMMARY: This position performs business analyst work and is an excellent fit for critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with statistical, financial and management reports, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:
- Compiling and analyzing data, determining effectiveness and making recommendations
- Creating projections and targets by meeting and interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Using SQL Developer to write scripts for generating reports and analysis
- Serving as liaison to internal and external partners
- Documenting work and preparing job aids
- Preparing and providing training
- Using technology to research and evaluate information and resolve complex issues
- Providing analysis support and recommendations for performance reporting
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Three years of experience creating business reports, including coding SQL scripts and database maintenance.
- Three years of experience performing business analyst duties, such as conducting interviews, gathering report requirements, documenting business processes, developing procedures, developing performance reports and validation of reports through testing.
- Three years of experience independently coordinating projects with deadlines to deliver a final work product.
- Evidence of progressively responsible experience in the public and/or private sector.
PREFERENCES:
- Preference given if the applicant has experience within the Child Support Program.
- Preference given if the applicant has experience working in a business reporting environment.
- Preference given if the applicant has experience using Tableau.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This position is part-time telework eligible after training and an acceptable level of proficiency is reached.
- Applicants chosen for interview will be based on their applicant selection score as screened by the Business Process Evaluation unit.
- Work samples will be conducted directly after scheduled interviews.
SALARY: $52,859.88 - $63,587.40.
