Brief description of duties and responsibilities
- Participates in organizational reviews to streamline current or the development of new systems and processes. Analyzes gathered data and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
- Designs, recommends and monitors changes to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems, processes and/or procedures.
- Reviews programs, services forms and reports; confers with management and users to identify and resolve problems.
- Prepares manuals and trains staff in the use of applications and procedures per policy.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following
REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of creating queries using SQL, SAS or Tableau.
- Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices.
- Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.
- Ability to conduct fact-finding research.
- Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Special Notes:
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of SAS and/or Tableau.
