KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Contingent Workforce Personnel Evaluation to join our Contingent Workforce Management organization.
Responsibilities:
- Execute compliance activities for contractor evaluation and onboarding by securing approvals, handling documentation, registering resources; oversee necessary training.
- Identify, understand, and summarize evaluation findings of contractor personnel and third parties for leadership approval; use judgment to assess severity, and escalate as necessary.
- Use workflow tools and document repositories to centralize and maintain documentation of all critical evaluation and onboarding activities for audits; assist requesters in meeting policy and regulatory requirements for contingent workers and suppliers.
- Monitor and follow up on background checks and onboarding tasks, escalate issues, ensure clear to start and post-onboarding compliance, update case files, and manage ongoing certification activities.
- Develop and update third party evaluation procedures based on firm policy changes.
- Adhere to SOPs for compliance tasks and help maintain and improve these procedures; mentor junior staff and oversee offshore personnel; apply continuous improvement principles to enhance and improve processes and team productivity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of recent work experience, preferably in contingent workforce shaping in a professional services environment.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and processes, applying expertise to make concrete decisions that impact the organization.
- Knowledge of project and program management methodology, tools and techniques required.
- Outstanding organizational skills, time management and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members.
