As a Fair Valuation Analyst, you’ll play a critical role on our team in supporting our daily valuation process focusing on fair valuation and hard to value assets. You will perform in-depth valuation analysis and develop, maintain, and review financial models and methodologies (e.g. discounted cash flow; market approach analyses, etc.) in accordance with all relevant global regulatory and accounting standards. You will analyze and interpret various valuation and liquidity related data and present the analysis and information to senior leaders and oversight committees. You will be r esponsible for monitoring, reviewing, and testing liquidity classifications of investments and stress testing in accordance with global regulatory requirements.

- You have strong knowledge of and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing valuations on private equity, private credit, and other level 3 assets.
- You are proficient in creating financials models and methodologies across a diverse range of companies (discounted cash flow, market approach, option pricing model, current value method, etc.).
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; are able to analyze company financial statements, assess company, industry or market news and its impact on fair value.
- You have an understanding of SEC rules 2a-5 and 22e-4 and AICPA valuation guidance.
- You have the ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) complex ideas, processes, and situations to various audiences including, senior business leaders, investment analysts, portfolio managers, and oversight committees.
- You bring exceptional quality and attention to detail to work deliverables.
- You enjoy mentoring people and are a role model who others look to for guidance.Your professional experience has included times when you’ve delivered constructive feedback to team members, verbally and in writing.
- You can work in ambiguous and highly complex situations, create clarity, demonstrate sound judgement, and drive towards effective outcomes.
- You work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines in a very time sensitive environment.
- Active CPA and/or minimum of CFA level 1 is preferred, but not required.
Orange County Base Salary Range: $95,066-$152,106
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
*Temporary positions in Canada and the United States are excluded from the above mentioned compensation and benefit plans.
