The Finance Manager/HRD will oversee the Food and Beverage finance and accounting functions of SAVOR…Omaha at Baxter Arena.
Directly supervising Finance Department employees in the day-to-day functions involved in proper facility accounting. This position will also oversee all Human Resources operations as well as administration and maintenance of all Facility Benefit Programs, consistent with ASM GLOBAL/SAVOR…Omaha policies.
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $75k-90k.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Finance)
- Manage and maintain internal controls and compliance in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Review and sign off bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and other analyses as needed.
- Create, maintain, and manage budgeting and forecasting.
- Complete/Supervise the process of recording manual journal entries and oversee various finance related processes.
- Review and sign off financial statements, budget reports, and event flash reports.
- Work with outside auditors to complete the annual audit and issue audited financial statements.
- Prepare other financial reports and analyses as requested.
- Manage the facility's cash flow needs.
- Manage all Payroll, Accounts Payable, & Accounts Receivable functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Human Resources Designee)
- Follows ASM GLOBAL Human Resources policies to assure compliance with legal requirements.
- Administers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all facility personnel.
- Performs recruitment activities. Writes and places advertisements.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientations.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation and personnel transactions.
- Coordinates training or trains Managers in HR functions.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Administers Affirmative Action Plan.
- Administers performance review and salary administration program.
- Administers benefits programs.
- Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
- Prepares employee separation notices and conducts exit interviews.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and retain staff.
- Planning assigning and directing work.
- Appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees.
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Work in partnership with DF&B or other managers.

Education and Experience
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance from 4-year college/university or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Capable of handling all aspects of the accounting cycle.
- Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in the facilities/arena management industry (Preferred not Required).
Skills and Abilities
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence change.
- Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting.
- Excellent math skills; high aptitude for figures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability.
- Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information.

Computer Skills
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- CPA is preferred.
- HR certification preferred.

- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work under above average pressure.
- Ability to work long, irregular hours, weekends and Holidays.
- Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis.
