We are a virtual, fee-only wealth management firm that also conducts consulting meetings with employees of our clients. No need for central physical office space because employees work from their home office or at client sites.
Another benefit of our business strategy is most new clients are sourced through relationships garnered in our consulting business, so there is less focus on sourcing from other, less effective approaches. The current team of 7, including 2 partners, has been an RIA (registered investment advisory) firm since 2004. To keep our team in top-notch synchronization and form, we conduct regular Skype meetings to organize ongoing work and discuss issues pertaining to the business to solicit everyone’s input for the best possible solutions.
The firm's growing revenue includes approximately $60M AUM under our private advisory plus comparable revenue generated from our consulting business. The combined AUM and consulting business provides a stabilizing income model for the firm that helps us weather uncertain markets on the AUM side. We pride ourselves in our professionalism and our lack of turnover in both our staff and our clients, so to support that stability, we only hire mature, responsible, self-driven individuals. Position Specifications
If you are an individual with at least 10 years of experience in the investment arena (RIA firm, investment company, mutual fund, bank, or similar firm), please contact us. This individual would be familiar with selecting funds for portfolios with different risk profiles, have in-depth knowledge of asset classes and how they interact, and work closely with our CIO (Chief Investment Officer) researching/maintaining the firm’s investment models. We’re looking for someone who is well-spoken and able to conduct meetings to groups but mostly one-on-one engagements at client sites; someone who is personable and trustworthy. This person must be groomed, well-dressed at client meetings, and have a home environment that is conducive to supporting a home office. The residence of this advisor is preferably in central New Hampshire, south central Vermont, or northern Massachusetts as travel is necessary to our client sites. Overnight travel may be required at least once or twice a month for a night or two. Our advisors typically spend 2-3 days at client sites and the remaining days at their home office each week. Depending on your location, most client sites are within driving distance so may not require overnight. Hotels and travel expenses are reimbursed.
