Position Summary
Provide professional expertise level support for the UNMC campus compensation/classification activities which includes job documentation, job evaluation, salary administration, and special studies/projects. Also provides compensation training to a diverse audience, functions as campus organization management administrator, and serves as backup to the Division Director, SS&C in the incumbent's absence.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required Education: Business Administration, Human Resources or related field (Will consider additional related post high school education in lieu of required experience)
Required Experience: 5 years of compensation administration experience to include job audits, market analysis, salary structure development and maintenance, and exemption testing. Experience utilizing HR enterprise software (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft) for maintaining organizational structure and experience serving in a lead/supervisory capacity and ability to deliver training presentations (Will consider additional related post high school education in lieu of required experience).

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of human resource related laws and regulations. Knowledge of general compensation philosophy and methodology for conducting market analysis and building/maintaining salary structures. Ability to project a positive image for the university, effectively problem solve, and deliver presentations in front of a diverse audience.
Preferred Education: MBA or equivalent
Preferred License: Yes - Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
