Job Summary:
The Timecard Auditor and Real-Time Monitoring Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring accuracy and compliance in employee time reporting and real-time status updates within our telephony platform. The primary responsibilities include auditing timecards for accuracy, monitoring and reconciling employee statuses with timecard entries, and identifying and addressing any discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Timecard Auditing:
- Review and audit employee timecards to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and relevant labor regulations.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, and anomalies in timecard data and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with payroll and HR departments to resolve any timecard-related issues or concerns.
Real-Time Monitoring:
- Monitor the telephony platform to ensure that employee statuses align with the duration recorded on their timecards.
- Regularly check employee statuses in real-time and compare them to the corresponding timecard entries.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies between employee statuses and timecards promptly.
- Communicate with team leads, supervisors, or managers to address any discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations in relation to timekeeping and status updates.
- Generate reports and provide insights on timecard accuracy, trends, and exceptions to management for further analysis.
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations related to timecards and employee statuses.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of timecard auditing and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and streamline workflows related to timekeeping and status updates.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to recommend innovative solutions for timecard auditing and real-time monitoring.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in timecard auditing, payroll, or related roles, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with telephony platforms and workforce management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret complex data and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Proficient in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and other relevant tools.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate and interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
