This position is responsible for management and oversight of MidFirst Bank's loan portfolio on a continuing basis in order to prevent or ameliorate loan losses. Assure documentation is in compliance with loan committee approvals, and state and/or federal regulations. Additional responsibilities include maximizing portfolio growth and profitability through effective product planning, development and implementation of lending strategies, training and coaching of loan team managers and ensuring the overall soundness of the loan portfolio. Assist the Bank's Chief Credit Officer (CCO) in managing lending functions including Energy Financing, Asset Based Lending and Syndications along with C&I lending.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor degree required.
- 15 plus years of bank lending/credit experience.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial and real estate lending procedures, practices, documentation, and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of financial statement, business, industry and economic analysis.
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong understanding of work flow concepts of banking.
- Ability to manage Underwriting and approval resources.
- Sound judgment, strong business sense, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure, establish priorities and take appropriate action.
- Highest level of integrity and work ethic.
- Capable of relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
