Position Summary
This is an administrative position in which prepares, mails and tracks notices and requests for additional information based upon significant additional needs requests and decisions; completes and provides technical assistance for waiver enrollments; assists in processing legal hearing requests; processes returned mail and performs other administrative duties as assigned.
The Work You Will Do
- Prepares, mails, and tracks legal notices to clients that identify their budget amount, services, and basis for significant additional needs decision and requests for additional information. Notifies Regional offices and Waiver Support Coordinators about matters related to waiver and cost plan reviews.
- Completes iBudget Waiver enrollments following established rules, statutes, and procedures, provides technical assistance to regional enrollment staff, and performs quality assurance checks on enrollment requests to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Obtains daily information from the agency’s data system, identifies action steps to be taken for client-specific cases, and assigns to appropriate review staff and supervisors. Tracks multiple activities related to the waiver, significant additional needs, and iBudget, including follow up and research related to specific cases with Region and Waiver Support Coordinators. Enters critical budget information and other data into the agency data systems which allows individuals to access services. Data entry documenting significant additional needs related hearing requests in the client data management system.
- Performs administrative and clerical duties related to significant additional needs and the iBudget Waiver.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be proficient with time management, planning, organizing, and coordinating work assignments.
- Must be able to apply program rules, policies, and procedures.

Direct Deposit Program
As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.
