We are a large multi-franchise group of dealerships with multiple locations throughout the southeast seeking an Accounting Office/Finance Assistant at our Orlando location. This position would be in charge of day-to-day operations at the store and report to the Assistant Controller. We operate both the Orlando and Nashville accounting offices out of this location.
Job Description:
The Accounting Office/Admin is responsible for daily handling of all bank contracts. You will assist with processing all sales deals internally. You will handle MSOs and GM invoices for both locations, along with additional tasks. You will reconcile and maintain accounting schedules weekly and submit them to the manager. You will assist with both Carl Black and General Motors compliance and auditing. This candidate must be very detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated. Dealership accounting background would be desired but not required. Knowledge of Excel is helpful. We have a very cohesive office and look forward to adding to our great team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Finance contract packets for lenders - assemble, track, and FedEx.
- Adverse Action/Hope Scholarships.
- Make trade jackets and deal checklists.
- Register all GMPP contracts and turn in any cancellation paperwork.
- Match & file all MSOs and GM invoices. Order duplicates when needed.
- Complete used vehicle compliance including audit pack.
- Responsible for 30-day add pack and schedules.
- Assist with filing, key tags, and reassigning of MSOs.
Requirements:
- Previous dealership experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Detail-oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Fast learner that is open to change and able to handle a demanding environment.
- Ability to stay confident in high stress/high activity times.
- Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's license.
