Job Title: Manager over Violations and ARB
Location: Orlando, FL
Job Description: The Manager over Violations and ARB (Architectural Review Board) plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Drive through the community on a golf cart to perform property maintenance inspections.
- Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically.
- Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
- Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
- Process architectural applications for exterior modifications.
- Filing, making copies and other general office tasks on a daily and as needed basis.
- Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
- Attend property committee meetings.
- Some weekend hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Florida CAM license preferred.
- Valid Driver License.
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of directly related or closely related experience.
- Experience in Community Property Management preferred.
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.
- Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
- Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
- Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
- Knowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings at a proficient level.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Professional customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
- Flexible schedule which could include evening and weekends.
