Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Orlando site is part of Global Business Services (GBS). The Finance Supervisor at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics in Orlando, FL will oversee processes and controls for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and procedures. This role involves developing process improvements, leading audits, accounting workflows, and managing a team of two analysts.
What You’ll Work On
- Direct the day-to-day operations of direct reports
- Participate in all Site Audits and develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external auditors
- Recruit, train, and provide development, performance management, supervision, and mentoring for the Business Process and Controls team
- Ensure that proper internal controls are operating effectively
- Responsible for the implementation of new controls as needed
- Build and enhance relationships with internal business
- Identify areas that need improvement and take action to bring improvements to life
- Support ad-hoc requests by leadership
- Design reports & analytical measures to report and improve on performance metrics
- Maintain the month-end documentation to comply with GAAP
- Collaborate with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives
- Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Support Controller and Director with special projects and workflow process improvements
Required Qualifications
- BS in Accounting/Finance
- 5+ years in accounting/audit with 2+ years in leading teams or projects
- Knowledge of accounting principles, software, and databases
- Strong data analysis and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication
- Manages multiple priorities with a strong work ethic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA
- Experience with SAP or HFM
- Proficiency with business analytics tools (PowerBI preferred)

The base pay for this position is $83,000.00 – $166,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
