Job Overview:
The Senior Analyst of Operational Analytics will support several organizations within LPL, with the primary focus in supporting Insurance. This role will be essential in driving behavioral change through data-driven insights within both organizations. In this role, you’ll develop a well-rounded understanding of business health, operations, and profitability, connecting the dots to communicate key insights to leadership. While reporting is a key component of this role, you’ll also liaise with other business partners and leaders, fostering a shared culture of performance management and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Business health reporting and deliverables: tracking & forecasting key business metrics, connecting back to business objectives and identifying opportunities/risks, producing both internal and external deliverables.
Operational data: organize, manage, and provide data essential to business operations including the design of metrics for insurance carriers, support sales teams in identifying outcomes of success, support services teams via producing survey metrics, and create delivery workflows for sharing key insights throughout the firm.
Data storytelling: extract and tailor insights for various leadership audiences, communicating clearly through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
Project management: take ownership of assigned analytics scope, working through ambiguity and collaborating cross-functionally to find value-added solutions and drive work to completion.
Contribute to a results-driven organization: by supporting various forums for internal metric review and alignment, resulting in a shared culture that has the right data and insights to make actionable decisions.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in analytics; financial services knowledge a plus.
Basic SQL to fetch data and basic Python to transform/analyze large datasets.
1+ year leveraging PowerPoint for storytelling and executive reporting purposes.
Preferences:
Demonstrated ability to influence peers and other business partners through collaboration.
Strong business reasoning and strategic thinking: able to extract key insights from data and connecting them back to the big picture.
Experience organizing data and creating visualizations; building interactive dashboards with Tableau is a plus.
Experience working with CRM data; Salesforce is a plus.
Pay Range: $66,100.00 - $110,100.00. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
