Pharmacy Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our award-winning hospital located in the scenic area of Buckeye Lake, OH. Compensation: $57.00 - $72.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily pharmacy operations, including staffing, customer satisfaction, and performance assessment.
- Assist the director in strategic planning, staff development, sustaining quality, and managing financial performance.
- Initiate and manage actions to resolve conflicts and address problem situations effectively.
- Conduct and participate in departmental meetings to outline decisions, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Set job competencies and performance goals to provide clear expectations for all team members.
- Function effectively as a pharmacist and perform on-line duties as needed.
- Participate in community service projects aligning with organizational mission and values.
- Lead initiatives to meet the future needs of the organization through visionary planning and change management.
- Manage financial and material resources to adhere to the departmental budget and cost controls.
- Support continuous quality improvement and deliver high-quality healthcare services.
- Provide pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic expertise to customize drug dosing for individual patient needs.
- Respond to emergency situations like Code Blue and Code Trauma to enhance patient survival and care.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Licensed RPh in Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical (hospital-based) pharmacy experience.
- Prior experience in a leadership role within healthcare/pharmacy settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively.
