Due to our firm's continuous growth, we are currently seeking very experienced tax accounting professionals at the Senior level for our growing Tax team. As part of our talented team of tax accountants, you will be contributing to the overall successful completion of tax engagements. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns.
- Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
- Identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions.
- Assist with the developing, training, and mentoring of staff and interns.
- Initiative to learn new tax skills the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group can offer including but not limited to: public company tax services, banking and financial industry tax services, energy industries, and more.
- Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
- Assist with development and retention of clients, including the ability to cross-sell services.
- Assist clients with special projects such as budgeting and cash flow projections, tax planning, and sales tax.
- Deliver projects/engagements on time, within budget, and to client's satisfaction.
Required:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting and pursuit or completion of 150 credit hours.
- A minimum of three years of relevant Tax experience.
- Recent experience working in public accounting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of Outlook.
Preferred:
- CPA certification.
- Active within professional and community organizations.
- Experience with Axcess software.
- Prior bookkeeping experience inclusive of QuickBooks.
Hours of Operation:
- Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
- We pride ourselves on flexibility, but the ability to work additional hours during peak times will be required.
