Are you ready to start defining possible with Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Sensor/Instructor Sensor Operator to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals.
You will analyze aerial and ground permanent record imagery and recommend the use of ground and aerial sensor systems for surveillance and reconnaissance missions. You will employ electronic, mechanical, and optical devices to obtain information from permanent record images and prepare imagery analysis reports.
Essential Functions:
Subject Matter Expert (SME) on sensor payloads and operation.
Providing instruction regarding ISAR, EO, IR, SAR, and MMTI/GMTI collections.
Providing analytical support in troubleshooting with reference to technical orders and engineering documents.
Maintain flight qualification and be the model of proper crew resource management.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal: High School diploma and 10 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience; or Master's Degree with 4 years of experience.
Sr Principal: High School diploma and 14 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of experience; or Master's Degree with 8 years of experience.
Willing to travel 50%.
Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel and obtain a valid U.S. passport.
FAA 3rd Class medical and active DoD Secret clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Instructor Qualification.
Salary Range: $80,600 - $121,000
