What We Need
NetBrain is in search of an experienced Accounting professional to manage key aspects of our financial and operational reporting as well as audits, taxes, and other compliance. This includes the month-end close process, international accounting, revenue recognition accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and various analyses. This position also assists with the management and development of accounting staff.
The Impact You’ll Make
This role will report to our Assistant Corporate Controller and will help drive initiatives including reducing the monthly close cycle, leveraging automation to reduce manual work, assisting with revenue close, and improving efficiency through standardization and organization. The Accounting Manager will have the important task of ensuring all accounting policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Create and maintain balance sheet reconciliations. Review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries prepared by senior accountant and commissions manager.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Account for revenue recognition in UK and German subsidiaries.
- Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance metrics to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Establish partner credit limits and monitor collections.
- Coordinate sales and use tax (S&U) filings and compliance related activities, including nexus reviews, registering in new jurisdictions, and administering the Company’s S&U tax software (Avalara).
- Assist with state registrations and annual filings.
- Prepare supporting schedules and provide supporting documents for annual financial statement audit, 401k plan audit, and foreign statutory and workers’ compensation audits.
- Prepare supporting schedules for federal and state tax compliance and annual tax provision.
- Assist with international accounting, VAT reconciliations, monthly reporting package review, and stat-to-GAAP reconciliations.
- Assist in the implementation of new systems, tools, and technologies that reduce manual work, automate processes, and/or improve internal controls.
- Assist with various projects to improve financial reporting and reduce the monthly close cycle.
- Produce ad hoc reports, reconciliations, and analyses on an “as-needed” basis.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all departments.
Who You Are
- You have 8+ years of relevant accounting experience. Public Accounting/Big 4 a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, practices, and internal controls.
- You have experience in operating various software systems, such as NetSuite, Salesforce, CaptivateIQ, Avalara, Expensify, ADP, and Adaptive.
- You have a high proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- You have a professional demeanor, a sense of camaraderie, and thrive in a team environment.
- You are goal-oriented, organized, and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You are a self-starter who takes initiative and excels in time management.
- You are a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.

Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $95,000 - $120,000 + Bonus & Stock Options. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
