The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst role in the Dallas, TX area. The successful candidate will be responsible for transferring financial information into spreadsheets to facilitate year to year historical comparison by lending staff and approval authorities. The candidate will confirm adherence to Bank lending policies and procedures as well as compliance with governmental rules and regulations.
The position includes a generous salary of up to $80K with an excellent benefits package.
Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst responsibilities include:
- Analyzing borrower’s financial position by interpreting and evaluating financial statements, tax returns, and/or projections.
- Preparing spreadsheets and reports through company related software that compares industry trends and related standards.
- Completing loan approval memorandums to include structuring the proposed loan request, cash flow measurement, collateral analysis and review of both business and personal financial statements.
- Preparing comprehensive credit memorandums and providing opinions and recommendations regarding proposed loans and potential risks.
- Maintaining current accounts and relationships and researching any problem necessary to resolve any routine or non-routine requests for financial information.
- Preparing financial projections (to include sensitivity analysis) when requested by upper management.
- Reviews loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to credit memorandum covenants and conditions.
- Interacting with customers and their accountants in the credit analysis process when appropriate.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred; accounting/finance experience is beneficial. The appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Five or more years of credit analysis experience required.
- SBA 504/ SBA 7a background preferred.
- Must possess attention to detail, accuracy in work performed, and can multi-task while maintaining focus.
- Excellent PC skills required; must demonstrate the ability to mentor/coach other team members while completing their own work at a high level.
