Overview
JST is seeking a highly qualified Senior Analyst to join our team at the 711th Human Performance Wing, United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). This position involves providing subject matter expertise in statistical analysis and data management to support the Aerospace Medicine Studies and Analysis Operational Support Team.

Senior Analyst Responsibilities
- Perform statistical analysis of existing datasets and create new datasets using SAS/EG.
- Scope, design, develop, monitor, and report on project timelines and milestones.
- Create useful stratification methods for data analysis based on ICD codes or other criteria.
- Develop credible, theoretically driven statistical models exploring the relationship between variables identified in datasets.
- Validate and verify statistical models and assist in performing corrections as needed.
- Draft written communication for internal and external purposes.
- Participate as an expert in health statistics in interdisciplinary planning and analysis.
- Acquire necessary data access permissions and use Air Force medical records systems and standards.
- Collect data from various databases and establish relationships to existing datasets.
- Provide conference support by participating in professional conferences, preparing posters and presentations, and publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Brief study findings at appropriate meetings or forums.
- Provide technical automation support for MS Windows, MS Office, MS SQL, and Adobe.
- Document computer code used for government personnel review and approval.
Senior Analyst Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Statistics, or Operations Research with a minimum of three years of experience in the field.
- Current HIPAA training certification.
- Advanced analytical skills in statistics and study design and execution.
- Expertise in descriptive statistics and SAS/SAS EG.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with statistics in a healthcare or military environment.
- Signed NDA in place based on potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in analysis in the medical field or the military.
Work Schedule
- Normal work hours are Monday to Friday, 0730-1630. Flexibility may be required to support specific tasks.
Clearance Requirements
- All contractor personnel require a minimum of a Tier 1 background check (T1)/SF85 for any position that requires access to the internet, use of automated information systems, or unescorted entry into restricted or controlled areas.
- MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance.
