AHT is looking for an Asset Manager to join our team!
Position summary: Reporting to the Vice President, the primary duties of this position are to manage and monitor the loan portfolio with the goal of managing risk, meeting requirements, and preserving the stability of collateral, as well as other duties related to asset management and as requested.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze loan portfolio to identify problem loans.
- Identify, manage and mitigate risk.
- Develop, implement, and follow asset management related policies to achieve organizational objectives.
- Review and process draw requests from borrowers.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and nonprofit fiscal accountability standards.
- Research and monitor market trends.
- Conduct site visits and monitor collateral.
- Maintain and update files and databases.
- Other duties as reasonably requested.
Essential Skills/Experience: The successful candidate for this position will have, at minimum, the following skills, experience, and characteristics.
- BSc/BA degree in business, finance or equivalent education preferred. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will be considered.
- Strong background (5+ years relevant experience) in real estate (development, management, construction), banking, finance, or similar roles required.
- Strong analytical and leadership abilities with superior communication, presentation, persuasiveness, influencing, negotiation, interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
- Solid work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter mentality with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
- Experience with LIHTC and senior term credit products.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Organized and proficient in managing data and administrative tasks.
- Experience with accounting and loan management software.
- Integrity and high value on ethical and moral behavior regarding organizational operations, confidentiality, and overall team interactions.
- Continued interest in learning and personal development to grow as a leader, to understand the industry and legal requirements, and to help the organization continue to grow.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
