Connect Housing Blocks is currently searching for a full-time Accounting Manager to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. We are revolutionizing the housing industry, manufacturing multi-story, prefabricated modular apartment housing in Columbus, Ohio, by providing high-quality affordable housing. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and compliance with accounting policies and regulations.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
8 AM – 4:30 PM
In office

The right candidate will have:

Associate’s degree in accounting or finance required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
At least 5 years of previous experience working in the same or similar role
Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with vendors, management, co-workers in English
Spanish proficiency preferred but not required
Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to practical situations

Our Accounting Manager will:

Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
Manage financial reporting, audits, and tax filings to maintain accuracy and compliance
Develop and oversee budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow management strategies
Provide strategic guidance to support business objectives
Supervise and support the accounting team in day- to- day operations
Foster a collaborative environment, provide training, and ensure professional development opportunities
Implement and enhance financial procedures and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy
Streamline month-end and year- end close processes
Conduct financial analysis, interpret data trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management for informed decision making
