A well-respected commercial real estate company known for developing class A retail strip centers is searching for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL! They are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a background in commercial real estate accounting that can hit the ground running and handle all the accounting functions. Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 DOE
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Conduct month-end close processes, including reconciliations, debits, credits, and journal entries
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Handle payroll for three employees using QuickBooks Online
- Perform CAM reconciliations annually and manage wire transfers
- Prepare financial packages for banks and liaise with banking institutions
Requirements- 5-10+ years of experience in accounting, with a preference for a degree in accounting
- 3-5+ years in commercial real estate accounting
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and vlookups), QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Suite
- CAM reconciliations experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills, self-starter, and proactive
- Knowledge of vendor setup, including W9 and 1099 forms, and sales tax is preferred
